Kellee has studied Pilates for 8 years and has been teaching for 3 years in the Bay Area. Her passion for Pilates revolves around the benefits it provides individuals regardless of age, gender or fitness level. Her philosophy is to promote an individual’s body awareness, while improving core strength, overall strength, flexibility and posture. She develops personalized studio and home programs with each of her clients based on their specific needs. Kellee prides herself in having a thorough understanding of the body’s muscular system and how to address issues such as referred pain, underused/developed muscles and limited mobility.
Kellee discovered Pilates after the birth of her daughter in 2000, finding it to be gentle way to help one’s body adjust to the changes of child birth. Among the many wonderful aspects of her role as a Pilates instructor, Kellee enjoys working with clients to develop programs to maintain fitness during pregnancy and after. Kellee’s fitness background includes numerous years studying and teaching ballet, personal training certification, regional competitive tennis player and long distance running and coaching.
