Director and founder of Alameda Wellness Center, Marika has been serving Alameda for over nine years. As a resident of Alameda for over a decade, Marika has a vision of community wellness for Alameda and is taking action through the Wellness Center in providing the highest quality health care along with community education in creating a strong healthy community through personal health. By improving your relationship with yourself you can then improve your relationship with others.
As a certified massage therapist, Marika is trained in Swedish, sports, pregnancy and infant massage, Cranio-sacral therapy, reflexology and lymphatic drainage. Each session includes Reiki, a profound energetic healing modality. As a teacher, Marika offers regular classes in Reiki, infant massage and various topics of health and the body.
