Melissa Margolis has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine since 2004. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biology from Harvard University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa. Her postgraduate education included several years studying western medicine at UCSF Medical School. She furthered her acupuncture training in a well-known fertility clinic, where she assisted in the development of a textbook on gynecology in Chinese medicine.
Melissa uses a gentle, nurturing style of acupuncture combined with herbal therapies to treat a broad range of ailments. She has experience with many sensitive and first-time acupuncture clients, and her sessions are aimed at optimizing comfort and relaxation. Her special interests are women's health, allergy support, pain management, digestive enhancement, and emotional balancing. She is committed to spending ample time with her clients exploring the complexities of their situation.
